The Salesian Boys &Girls Club of East Los Angeles is asking for your support. Many illustrious celebrities have joined together to spread the word such as Mike Wahlberg, Angela Bassett, Michael Bay, Courtney B. Vance, Jerry Bruckheimer and many more via twitter. Actor Michael Pena offered his support by narrating their very touching PSA directed by Joe Kelly. The Salesian Boys & Girls Club offers several impactful programs to the youth of East LA and Boyle Heights. The program is in urgent need of funding to keep its doors open. Essence Magazine, Steve Harvey and The Disney Dreamers Academy are Looking for High School Dreamers

Walt Disney Company, Steve Harvey and Essence Magazine have partnered together in creating the Disney Dreamers Academy which is designed to inspire and empower young high school students to go after their dreams while being the change they want to see in  their communities and the world. Students will experience life changing events such as personal development and career workshops as well as networking opportunities with cast members, celebrities, community and industry leaders. According to Steve Harvey's Website  this year marks the 8 year anniversary of the Dreamers Academy which has served over 700 young dreamers in making his/her dreams come true. LEAD in your Career and Education This Academic Year

Leadership Through Empowerment Action and Dialogue, Inc. (LEAD) will be hosting info sessions for young leaders who are ready to earn their high school diploma/jump start their career. If you are between the age of 18-24, living in the Los Angeles area, and ready to become an agent of social change through education and work experience then LEAD is the perfect place for you to be. There are 4 info sessions to choose from.
