Hollywood Black Film Festival A Huge Success with Diversity in Panels, Films and Parties

*Courtesy of Edna Sims, ESP Public Relations* Founder and Executive Director Tanya Kersey of the Hollywood Black Film Festival (HBFF) are proud of the huge success of this years’ film festival.   The four-day film festival took place Thursday, October 25, 2012 through Sunday, October 28, 2012, hosted at the W Hotel, with film screenings at the Montalban Theater in Hollywood, CA.   Some of the highlighted events included, “Faith in Film: a Conversation with DeVon Franklin,” sponsored by Wells Fargo bank.   Franklin gave words of encouragement to the sold out crowd, “don’t be so anxious about tomorrow, that you miss the blessing of today.” Michael Baisden’s Story Live Staged Reading was another big hit among attendees.   Don B.
